If incorrect digits are keyed into the igloohome Keybox 3 for 5 consecutive times, it will produce a siren and not accept any more PIN codes for the next 1 minute. This is to deter unwanted guessing of PIN codes.

After another 5 unsuccessful attempts, the keypad will be disabled for 5 minutes.
