To activate Keypad Lockout mode, press and hold the Multi-Function button until you hear a series of beeps.

In this mode, the keypad will flash with numbers and "Close" when it is pressed, but will not register any numbers.

The keypad lockout mode will prevent any PIN code or key card from being used, however any other methods of unlocking will be able to unlock and disable the Keypad Lockout, including Bluetooth Key, physical key, Multi-Function button, and Handle (from the inside).

Note: Keypad Disabled mode can only be enabled when the Mortise is locked
