 We do not recommend other types of batteries such as: 

Rechargeable batteries: 

We do not recommend using rechargeable batteries as they lose their charge with every recharge. This makes it difficult to give an accurate estimation of how long more they can last.

Heavy Duty/Eveready/Lithium batteries: 

We do not recommend using these batteries as it would spoil the Deadbolt 2s very fast.
