The deadbolt runs on 4 AA 1.5V Alkaline batteries. We recommend changing your batteries every 6 months to ensure your lock is properly powered.

If batteries with less than 1.5V charge are used, the lock will not work properly, thus it is important to ensure that fresh batteries are used.

IMPORTANT: igloohome recommends Energizer batteries to power your igloohome product. Other battery types such as non-Alkaline or rechargeable batteries may damage your product. Do note that Battery damage is not covered by igloohome warranty.
