To get started with iglooaccess, you will need an igloohome account. We are pleased to offer a 30-day trial period, allowing you to explore and experience the full potential of iglooaccess. Following the trial period, a nominal fee of USD $2 per active lock per month will be applicable.

iglooaccess User Guide



User Login / Registration


When you navigate to the iglooaccess Portal, you'll be greeted with a login page as follows where you can login using their igloohome credentials if you already have a valid iglooaccess account activated.




User Registration


If you are a first time user and have no valid iglooaccess account, you can either continue login with a valid igloohome account or you can click on the [Register here] link on the login page and you will be greeted with the registration page where you will need to fill in the following to get a 30-day free trial:


Full Name (compulsory field) - Full Name of customer applying for this account


Email (compulsory field) - Email address of the customer (need to be the same email address as your igloohome account) 


Name of the application/service you intend to provide with the API (compulsory field) - Name of service that you plan to associate themselves with


Company name (if you are signing up on behalf of a company) - Company Name of the registrant


What country/region is your company based in? - Country where customer is based in


Name of your igloohome account manager - Name of the customer’s igloo account manager


How many locks do you intend to deploy? - How many locks does customer intend to deploy




Forget Password 


This is the page where customer can request for a reset of your igloohome account password and you would just need to furnish your igloohome account email address by accessing it via [Forget Password?] on the login page. 





Portal Landing Page


This is the page where you will be shown once you have login successfully provided they have both valid igloohome account and iglooaccess account. You can see the list of locks and accessories paired to your igloohome account and you can search using the search field for either the lock name or lock bluetooth ID.


If your iglooaccess account is on trial, there will be a red banner shown on when the 30-day trial will be ending for your information and the instruction on how you can add in their credit card details to your account.



Devices




These are the information that will be presented on the Locks List Page (Refer to screenshot above):


  • Locks Bluetooth ID
  • Lock Name
  • Time Zone that the locks are paired in
  • Master PIN code of the relevant locks where you can click on the eye icon to unmask / mask the master PIN     






These are the information that will be presented on the Accessories List Page (Refer to screenshot above):


  • Accessories Bluetooth ID
  • Accessory Name
  • Device Type of the accessories
  • Bluetooth ID of the locks that the relevant accessories are linked with  



API Access



User can see the details of your service name that they furnished during registration and the following details without referring back to the registration email sent by accessing it via [API Access] on the left menu:


  • Client ID
  • Client Secret (where you can unmask / mask by clicking on the eye icon) 




Webhooks



This is the page where you can either view the details of the webhooks submitted or click on [Add a new webhook] to add in the relevant webhook to submit to our server by accessing it via [Webhooks] on the left menu.



Change Log





This is the page where you can view the change logs of the releases that our team has deployed for both iglooaccess Portal and API gateway by clicking on [Change Log] on the left menu.



Billing


This is the page where you will be redirected to a new tab where you will be able to see your igloohome account email address auto populated on the email field. You can just click on [Send] and Stripe will be sending a secure link to the provided email address.



You will be able to see the following screen once you have clicked on [Send]



Once that is done, you will receive the following email sent to your email account and you can click on [Log in] on the email to be redirected to a Stripe secure link.



You will be able to see the following where you can [+ Add payment method] to put in your credit card details for auto billing or view past invoices that you have made in the past. You can also choose to update your billing information on this page as well.




Support




This is the page where you will be redirected to a new tab where you can create a new support ticket on our support page in the case they faced any issue with either our iglooaccess portal or API gateway by clicking on [Support] on the left menu.



Settings



This is the page where you can choose to edit their igloohome account Full Name or [Change Password] for their requesting to reset your igloohome account password by either clicking on [Settings] on the left menu or on your user name on the top right corner and clicking [Settings].




Logout


Once user click on the [Logout] menu item, you will be logout from your current session and will be brought back to the iglooaccess Login Page.



You will be brought to our API Document Repository when you click on [Documentation] on our iglooaccess Landing Page as shown above.
