We are excited to announce an evolution in the integration between Igloohome and Smoobu. As part of our ongoing commitment to improve your experience, we have simplified the connection process. Now, connecting no longer requires an API key.

Here are the steps to migrate to the new connection:

  1. If not done already, pair your devices on the Igloohome app.

  2. Go to Iglooconnect and log in with your Igloohome credentials.

  3. Click on your name on the top right of your screen 

    Disconnect

  4. Select connections 
  5. Click on Smoobu, then select 'Available Slots', and click on the BIN icon to remove it from the integration. (A popup screen will appear to confirm the removal; please click 'Remove' to proceed)

    Connect
  6. Select "Smoobu V2" 
  7. You’ll be redirected to Smoobu page to sign in with your Igloohome credentials.
  8. Map the property with your locks.
  9. If not done already, go to the communication area on Smoobu to create an email template and add the [igloohomelockcode] variable. This way, the PIN code will be automatically sent to your travelers.


Important note: Some devices are not supported by our new integration. We recommend checking the list to ensure your devices are compatible.
