The era of smart homes has ushered in a new level of convenience and security, empowering homeowners to control various aspects of their living spaces with ease. In recent years, the integration of voice-controlled virtual assistants has played a significant role in transforming our homes into intelligent environments.

With this, we want to provide a a new level of convenience by integrating our locks with Amazon's virtual assistant, Alexa!.

To initiate the setup process for connecting your Igloohome locks to Amazon Alexa, you can follow these steps.

Step 1: Ensure you have an igloohome account.

Step 2: Pair your locks to the igloohome account. 

NOTE: This needs to be done within Bluetooth range of your lock

Step 3: Set Up the Bridge to your account.  Set Up- Get Started

Once you've completed, the steps indicated above you may proceed to connect your locks to the Amazon Alexa App.

1.) Open Alexa App and tap on More  at the bottom of the screen.

2.) Choose Skills & Games

3.)  On the Search bar, type in igloohome

4.)  Tap on igloohome and click on Enable to Use

5.) Sign in with your igloohome User name and Password to link your Amazon account with the igloohome skill

6.) Once done, search your igloohome bridge-linked locks and connect.

7.)  Set up the device and Add to Group

8.) Under the Devices Page, click on View

9.) Click on the Gear Icon at the top right corner and enable Unlock by App and Unlock by Voice

Unlock by App -   this will allow you to provide you to provide the password for the Alexa account.

Unlock by Voice - this will route you to the next page to confirm your voice code.
